Terms of use

Last updated 2 November 2026

These terms apply when you create an account or use Privacyboard (the “Service”). The Service is provided by Antoine Milkoff, 3ter Avenue Jeanne d’Arc, 94170 Le Perreux-sur-Marne, France (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm that you can bind that business.

1. What Privacyboard does

Privacyboard is a guided workspace. It helps you prepare privacy documents such as a privacy policy, a list of your providers and a data processing agreement, keep records of your data activities, publish a privacy center, and manage privacy requests sent to you.

Privacyboard is not legal advice. It produces drafts and suggestions from your answers and from public information. Suggestions, such as the data role or storage region of a provider, are starting points that you review and confirm. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish and for your own compliance. For an unusual situation, ask a qualified professional.

2. Your account

  • You must give a valid email address and keep your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

3. Your content and your data

You keep all rights to the content you enter or upload, such as company details, logos, records and documents (“Your Content”). You give us a limited right to host, process and display Your Content only to run the Service for you, including publishing the documents you choose to make public in your privacy center.

Your workspace is private to your account until you publish. You choose which documents appear in your privacy center. Content you publish there is public and can be read by anyone with the address.

You are responsible for having the right to use Your Content. Personal data about your own customers, such as the details in a privacy request, is processed on your behalf. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and our data processing terms are available on request at antoine@unmake.io.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or to mislead people about your privacy practices;
  • try to access another customer’s data, or probe, scan or disrupt the Service;
  • upload malicious code or send unsolicited messages through the Service;
  • copy, resell or build a competing service from the Service, except as the law allows.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after notice where this is reasonable.

5. Plans and payment

Setting up a workspace, drafting and validating documents, and previewing your privacy center are free. Some features, such as publishing your privacy center at a public address, are part of a paid plan. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown before you buy. Paid plans renew until you cancel. We will tell you before changing a price that applies to you, and the change applies from your next billing period. Unless the law requires otherwise, amounts already paid are not refunded.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or remove features, and will give notice of changes that significantly affect you. Download your documents regularly to keep your own copies.

7. Our rights

The Service, including its software, design, text and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use it, not to own it. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the Service without obligation to you.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that the documents it produces are complete, current or suitable for your situation, or that using it makes you compliant with any law.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that led to the claim (or, if you only use the free plan, to EUR 100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights the law gives you.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to antoine@unmake.io. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms or if the law requires it. When an account is deleted, we delete Your Content within a reasonable time, except where the law requires us to keep some of it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will notify you by email or in the Service before they apply. If you keep using the Service after the date shown at the top, you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of France. Disputes are brought before the Paris courts, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to another court.
