Ask your AI assistant about your privacy compliance.
The Privacyboard connector lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants that support remote MCP servers read your workspaces: overdue requests, vendors without an agreement, incidents to notify, documents, assessments and consent rates, computed by Privacyboard for today. It only reads unless you allow four small changes, and who sent a request or what they wrote never leaves Privacyboard. It is part of the Pro and Business plans.

In short
- Works with
- Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants that support remote MCP connectors
- Access
- Read-only by default, limited to the workspaces you tick
- Never shared
- Who sent a request and what they wrote, incident narratives, each visitor’s cookie choice
- Plan
- Pro and Business, with one connection for several workspaces
You choose what it reads
Approve the connection on Privacyboard, tick the workspaces it may read, and decide whether it may make a few changes. The screen says who publishes the app.
Deadlines, as a table
In assistants that show visual answers, open requests come with their legal deadline and state, computed by Privacyboard for today, and a button to open your workspace.
Nothing changes without a yes
A change comes back as a preview first. The assistant shows it to you, and it is applied only once you confirm that exact change.
Every use, on the record
Each change appears in Settings → Activity with the previous values, and each day of reading is logged per assistant. Disconnect it in one click.
Where it fits
Everything sits in one workspace: say a thing once, and every document that depends on it follows.
What is an MCP connector?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use tools provided by another service. Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants can add a remote MCP server as a connector: you sign in to that service once, and the assistant calls it when a question needs it.
The Privacyboard connector, at https://privacyboard.io/mcp, gives the assistant the same answers as the app. Deadlines, statuses and what needs attention are computed by Privacyboard, so the assistant explains and drafts from your records instead of guessing. The records themselves stay in your workspace.
How it works
- 1
Add the connector
In your assistant, add a custom connector with the address https://privacyboard.io/mcp. It is also shown in Settings → Connectors.
- 2
Approve on Privacyboard
Sign in, tick the workspaces it may read and, if you want, Also allow a few changes. The screen says who publishes the app you are connecting.
- 3
Ask
Ask what to do this week, which vendors lack an agreement or whether an incident must be notified. Four ready-made prompts cover the usual reviews.
What you get
Every register, readable
Compliance status, privacy requests, vendors, the processing register, incidents, documents, impact assessments and cookie banner figures, with search and fetch.
Deadlines computed for today
Overdue requests, the 72-hour window to notify a breach and reviews coming due are worked out by Privacyboard, not by the assistant.
Visual answers
In assistants that show MCP Apps, request deadlines come as a table and consent as a chart by region, with a button to open your workspace.
Four ready-made prompts
What to do this week, a monthly compliance review, a vendor audit, and the handling of one privacy request with a reply drafted from your templates.
Changes only if you allow them
Set a request to In progress or Awaiting identity, complete a vendor or a processing activity, or record an incident draft. Nothing else.
Previewed, then logged
A change first comes back as a preview for the assistant to show you, and is applied only by a second, confirmed call. Each one appears in Settings → Activity with the previous values.
Personal data held back
Who sent a request, what they wrote, incident narratives and each visitor’s cookie choice never leave Privacyboard. The limits are enforced in the database.
Several workspaces, one connection
Agencies and consultants tick several workspaces, and the assistant asks which one when needed. Disconnect at any time in Settings → Connectors.
Where the rules meet AI assistants
What the assistant reads is sent to its provider under that provider’s terms; the full notice is on AI assistants and your data. Answers are help with your compliance work, not legal advice.
- GDPR, Article 5(1)(c)
- Personal data must be limited to what is necessary. The connector shares references, dates and statuses, not the people behind a request.
- GDPR, Article 28
- A provider that processes personal data on your behalf is a processor, bound by an agreement. Check the terms of the plan you use with your assistant before you connect it.
- GDPR, Article 32
- Security must match the risk. Each person approves the connection signed in, tokens are stored only as fingerprints, and every call checks the connection, the membership and the plan.
Say it once. It is true everywhere.
Your vendors, your answers and your cookie banner feed one workspace. Your policy, your records, your agreement and your privacy center are written from it, so a change is made once and nothing drifts.
A European service. Your workspace data is stored in the EU.
Other regimes, such as India’s DPDP Act, are not covered yet. Privacyboard is a guide, not legal advice.

Questions, answered.
Which AI assistants work with Privacyboard?
Any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors with sign-in, such as Claude and ChatGPT, where custom connectors are available on your plan with them.
Can the assistant see who sent a privacy request?
No. Their name, email address and message stay in Privacyboard. The assistant sees the reference, the right, the law, the dates and the status. When it drafts a reply, it leaves placeholders for you to complete and send from Privacyboard.
Can the assistant change or delete my records?
It only reads unless you tick Also allow a few changes when you connect. It can then make four kinds of changes, each previewed first and logged in Settings → Activity. It can never send an email, delete anything, or change documents, settings, the team or billing.
Does the AI provider receive my data?
Yes, what the assistant reads is sent to the company that provides it, under its own terms. Check them, for example whether conversations are used for training, before you connect.
Which plans include the connector?
Pro and Business. If a workspace goes back to Free, its connections pause until it is on a paid plan again.
How do I stop an assistant?
Disconnect it in Settings → Connectors: it stops at once. Owners and admins can disconnect anyone’s connection to their workspace.
Is there anything without an account?
Yes. https://privacyboard.io/mcp/vendors answers questions about common vendors, such as where their agreement is or where they host data, from the public vendor guide, with no sign-in.
