Privacy center

What is public and what stays private

Exactly what a published privacy center shows and what never leaves your workspace: drafts, vendor roles, agreements, registers, requests and answers.

Publishing a privacy center copies a filtered snapshot of your workspace to a public page. Everything else stays private.

#Private, always

  • Drafts and documents you did not switch on.
  • Vendor roles, agreement links and notes.
  • The processing register.
  • Privacy requests and replies.
  • The answer library and everything else in your workspace.

#Control

  • Switch each document on or off before publishing, and preview the page first.
  • Your later edits stay private until you update the page.
  • Removing the snapshot, deleting the workspace or a lapsed Pro plan takes the page offline.

#Visitor privacy

Visitors to your privacy center do not contact outside services for logos or icons: assets are served from Privacyboard.

#FAQ

#Can visitors see which vendors I use?

Yes, the name, purpose and region of vendors you list are public once you publish. Review your list before publishing.

#Is the request form safe from spam?

The form includes a hidden check against automated submissions, and requests are only added to your workspace.

#Can I hide a document?

Yes. Switch it off in the center settings and update the page.
