Security and your data

Security and privacy overview

How Privacyboard protects your workspace: private by default, separate accounts, European database, no ads and no AI training on your content. A plain-language overview, not a certification.

Updated 3 November 20262 min read

Privacyboard stores information about your company and, if you use the request form, about people who contact you. This page explains in plain language how that data is handled. It describes the product today and is not a certification or an audit report.

#Private by default

Everything in your workspace is private to your account until you choose to publish. Only validated documents you switch on, and a filtered set of company, vendor and practice information, appear in a public privacy center.

#Separate accounts

Each account can only read and change its own workspaces. Other customers cannot see your data, and the public pages can only read what you published. Public visitors can only call the narrow actions that serve a published page, send a privacy request or record a cookie choice.

#Where data is stored

Your workspace data is stored in a database in the European Union. Privacyboard is operated as a European service.

#What Privacyboard does not do

  • Privacyboard writes your documents without AI: they are assembled from your answers with fixed wording.
  • Privacyboard does not store payment card numbers: payments are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.

The cookie consent log records a random visitor ID, the date, the banner version and the choice. It contains no IP address and is deleted after 13 months. See Consent log.

#Privacy requests keep the minimum in email

Notification emails about a new privacy request never contain the request itself. You read the details inside the workspace, so personal data is not copied into mailboxes.

#Website reading is limited

When you import your website, Privacyboard only opens public HTTPS pages and only when you ask. See Website import.

#Your responsibilities

Keep your password confidential and tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. Review what you publish. Verify roles, regions and agreement links against your own accounts.

#Report a security issue

If you think you found a vulnerability, write to us from the contact address on the terms page. Please give us time to fix it before you share details publicly.

#FAQ

Privacyboard does not claim any certification. This page describes practices, not an attestation.

#Who can see my workspace?

Only you, signed in to your account. Published pages show only what you chose to publish.

#Does Privacyboard see my customers' data?

Only what you or your customers enter in the product: for example privacy requests sent through your form, and cookie choices in the log, which hold no identifying data.
