Processing register

Export the register

Export your record of processing activities to PDF or Excel for an auditor, a customer questionnaire or your own files.

Updated 3 November 20261 min read

The processing register can be exported to a PDF or an Excel file whenever you need to show it: to an auditor, in answer to a customer questionnaire or for your own files.

#What the file contains

One row per activity, with these columns:

  • Activity
  • Role (controller or processor)
  • Purpose
  • People concerned
  • Personal data
  • Special categories
  • Legal basis
  • Kept for
  • Recipients (vendors)
  • Transfers outside the EEA

The file also carries your company details, the date of the export and the security measures you declared, such as multi-factor authentication, encryption and backups.

#How to export

Open the processing register and choose Export, then PDF or Excel. Transfers outside the EEA are worked out from the region of each linked vendor.

#Keeping it accurate

The export reflects the workspace at the moment you export. Review activities and vendors first: a vendor with no region cannot be checked for transfers.

#FAQ

#Can I import an existing register?

Not today. You can add activities by hand or start from the ready-made ones.

No. Privacy requests and consent logs have their own exports.
