#What Privacyboard is

A guidance tool that helps you document, publish and maintain what you actually do with personal data, under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules.

#What it is not

  • Not legal advice. For an unusual, contested or high-risk situation, check with a professional.
  • Not a compliance guarantee. No tool can make a company compliant on its own. Compliance depends on your real practices, not on documents alone.
  • Not a certified product. There is no certification attached to the documents or the cookie banner.
  • Not an AI writer. Texts are assembled from fixed, reviewed wording and your answers.

#Current limits

  • Documents are written in English.
  • Custom domains for the privacy center are not available yet.
  • The cookie banner does not implement IAB TCF and is not a Google-certified CMP.
  • Vendor roles, regions and agreement links are starting points to verify in your own accounts.
  • The processing register follows the structure of Article 30 and is a foundation record.
  • A workspace belongs to a single account. Team members and invitations are not available yet.
  • There is no automatic monitoring of your vendors' terms.
  • Regulations other than the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules are not covered.

#Your responsibilities

  • Answer questions truthfully and keep your workspace up to date.
  • Review and validate documents before you publish them.
  • Confirm roles and regions against your own accounts and agreements.
  • Check what your website loads, using the site check.

#FAQ

#Can I rely on Privacyboard for an audit?

It gives you organised, dated records and clear documents, which helps. Whether you meet the law is a question of your practices and context, which a professional can assess.

#Will more regulations be added?

The product is focused on the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules today. Changes are listed in the changelog.
